Being in school, on time, and staying until dismissal at 3:15 is so important for our students’ learning and success. When students arrive late or are checked out early, they miss valuable instruction, class discussions, and important activities that help them grow academically and socially.

Parents, we need you to partner with us to ensure that we can make the most of your students' school day.  By ensuring that they are here on time, and remain in school until dismissal, you are setting them up for success!

To celebrate consistent attendance, we’ll be launching a new “Every Minute Matters” Attendance Initiative!

Here’s how it works:

⭐ Two chances every day to win!

• A random student name will be called around 8:16 AM and around 2:48 PM.
• One student from each grade level will be selected each time.

🎁 If the student is PRESENT when their name is called:

• They will come to the office and choose a prize from our prize boxes!

⏳ If the student is NOT present when their name is called:

• They will miss that prize opportunity for the day.

🎟️ Bonus Weekly Drawing!
Students who were present when their name was called will also:

• Fill out a raffle ticket
• Drop it into the BIG DRAWING box

At the end of each week, we’ll pull raffle tickets for even bigger prizes🏆

Being at school on time and all day gives students more opportunities to learn, grow, and maybe even win some fun prizes along the way! Thank you for partnering with us to help make strong attendance a priority at Balls Creek Elementary! 💚
