Every Student Matters; Every Moment Counts

Bullying Prevention Spirit Week - October 20-24

Posted Date: 10/13/25 (4:00 PM)

Balls Creek Families,

Balls Creek Elementary School, along with Catawba County Schools, will participate in a district-wide spirit week for Bullying Prevention Week from October 20-24, 2025. These days are free to participate and are optional. Our school is participating in Bullying Prevention Week to foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for every student. Bullying, in all its forms, can have serious and lasting negative effects on a child's academic success, mental health, and emotional well-being. By dedicating a concentrated effort to this topic, we can empower students with the tools to recognize, report, and stand up to bullying, while also reinforcing our collective commitment to a zero-tolerance policy. We believe that by working together with families, we can build a strong support network that sends a clear message to all students: kindness, empathy, and respect are at the core of our school community.

See the flyer below detailing the daily theme days.
